In the age of internet and post-information, cyber culture is already part of our everyday life and the boundaries between people and computers, brains and machine, virtual world and reality are becoming blurred. To what extent will cyber culture substitute the real world? To what extent will it affect our ways of being from our body to our mind, our relation with the others?
The short film for this study explores issues by a story mixing cultural references. It deals with various links to this emerging ‘culture of simulation’, including allusions to You Tube, Second Life, virtual community games and the movie Being John Malkovich. It questions the implications of the virtual in our life.
