The inspiration for this work comes from the telepathic bond of Shams and Rumi; which later evolved in a series of smart textile products that will emphasize the
importance of nonverbal communication in a long distance relationship. The products will do so using ‘Internet of Things’, thus virtually connecting two people who do not live together in a way that one’s existence could be felt in other’s environment.
